Extremely successful, worldwide market leader wishes to augment its existing team with an Application Support Developer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly exceptional organisation working in a high profile market offering varied career progression routes inc project management, pre-sales consultancy and development.
Working from a client site, the successful candidate will provide a very high quality application support service by:
Answering customer queries in a timely fashion.
Resolving customer problems within times stated in SLA.
Troubleshooting both remotely and on-site.
Ensuring upgrades and installations are concluded successfully.
Liasing with other developers to share knowledge and cross-train.
Providing User-based training both internally and externally.
Skills Required:
O*S and Software Application Support of large scale RDBMS based products.
Knowledge of Programming languages (VB, Delphi, C, C++, C#, .net etc).
MS Operating Systems administration including NT, 2000 + XP.
IIS.
Understanding of TCP*IP on Ethernet.
Beneficial: ASP scripting and Perl.
Others:
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Adaptable and aptitude for development of Consulting and Sales Support skills - requirements gathering and product demonstrations.
This is not a hardware*network support position and you will be supporting in-house developed applications.
